So you are thinking about becoming a driving instructor, but what you are going to get from us is a slightly different approach. We prefer straight talking and highlighting the important issues for you, so you may find the language used a little more informal…that’s just us.
There are a few considerations to becoming a driving instructor.
1. You have the training.
2. Is being an instructor really right for your change in career?
3. Learning how to run a driving school business.
They are your main three considerations, though there can be more. What we like to discuss is not just our training but also our half day taster session where you get to sit in on a lesson, and practice your advanced driving techniques.
You need to understand how to operate as a driving school business, which includes pupil management techniques, sales, marketing and business development. We include that in our training because you want a career!
If you do choose to work with us then your training goes beyond training as a driving instructor. The standard training is for part 1,2 and 3. You can find this type of training in most driving instructor training centres, but we do more.
