Driving Instructor Training Part 3
The Part 3 test is a practical role-play of instructional ability in two
30 minute phases.
Candidates must demonstrate their ability to pass on their knowledge, experience
and skills and be able to identify, analyse and correct faults in a pupil’s
driving.
As part of our Part 3 training you will be taught how to identify various
faults and errors in pupils driving, we provide a minimum of 20 hours in car
training prior to you taking your Part 3 test.
Please note: There are no restrictions on the number of times that the candidate may attempt part 1. On passing Part 1,
candidates then have a period of two years to complete the remaining tests. Only three attempts on Part 2 and part 3 are
permitted.
